Location was very convenient, although run down.
Plumbing. For 90€ with a minimalist self-service continental "breakfast" for two, it was not worth it considering the Amalia at Syntagma was going for 120€ with far superior rooms, service and a full English breakfast for two. Good for backpackers, but bookings.com should not advertise this as a hotel. At best a pension.

The location was superb. We loved sitting on the roof-top terrace and looking out over the Parthenon. Good internet access.
As this is a hostel, it is very loud, louder than any hostel I know. The staff are all international travelers themselves, not trained in hotel service. I had written ahead asking for an early check-in since our 12- hour flight was getting in the am. The reply didn't address my question but simply stated that they looked forward to our arrival. An early check- in wasn't available. In fact, our room was not even ready at the designated check-in. We had gone to eat, returning at check-in time, only to sit in the lobby for another hour while they finally got around to cleaning our room. I would not recommend this hostel for a first night after a long international flight. There was no art in our room as the website indicated. Not an "art hostel"

Best hostel experience ever! Loved the rooftop bar with stunning views of the city's major attraction. The staff were also friendly and approachable, and the WIFI connection was reliable. The location was unbeatable, with easy accessibility to public transportation and numerous choices of good food and drinks.
The shower room was poorly lit and required a bit of maneuvering. , the kitchen could use some improvement, more plates and bowls were needed, and a sign reminding guests to mark their food wasn't effective.
